New Visions + New Ideas = Positive Results
New Visions
Let’s move forward with a vision where every student has the resources to succeed and be prepared for college or the workforce after high school graduation. We need a vision of proper long-term planning for capital projects and curriculum so that teachers and students have the resources to flourish.
New Ideas
In order to achieve these new visions, we must offer positive solutions and ideas while remaining fiscally responsible. To ensure that every student is prepared for college, we need to offer proper advanced courses for college-bound students. We must also make sure that there are appropriate career and technical education courses for those students wishing to transition directly to full-time employment. Moreover, there needs to be proper long-term planning for capital projects in our schools so that they can be done cost effectively without a detrimental effect on students and teachers by overcrowding or improper resources. Our schools must utilize proper technology resources and integration within the curriculum and classroom in order to prepare students for the ever-changing workforce and office environment.
Positive Results
With adoption of these ideas, our students will graduate from high school better prepared. Well prepared graduates can ensure many positive results. Research has shown that higher education and training leads to better job opportunities, lower unemployment, economic growth, higher mean income for localities, and a larger tax base which does help to keep tax rates lower.
